Even the brightest entrepreneurs and freelancers aren’t immune to the effects of the economy. To help make ends meet I spend a few hours every week doing simple, boring work for tiny money. While doing this today a man many years my senior who was also doing simple work asked “why do you look so sad”. I replied “Don’t mind me, I’m doing mundane work for ugly money and I’m letting it bother me”. The man looked angry for a minute and then smiled. “Man, you’re young, healthy and on the right side of the grass! Now get that frown off your face and enjoy it!”
So much for bad excuses. Time to enjoy.
